Background

A transformation was made out of two old mud houses into a single property.
Today it has 2 junior suites, 4 bedrooms, 2 terraces overlooking the old city
with its mosque a living room and an arcade in the courtyard.

It took many skills to work on demolishing old and insecure walls, rebuilding
the roofs and floors, installing the most up to date electric wiring and modern plumbing with bathrooms adjoining each of the junior suites and bedrooms.

The entire reconstruction work was carried out using only local materials. New
bricks were madefrom the sifted earth, mixed with straw and water. Old stakes
were changed.
